CRAITR

Creative Practice, Experimental AI & Emerging Technologies Research, a research group at the Institute of Design, AHO (Oslo School of Architecture and Design). Established 22 April 2026, one of seven research groups at the Institute of Design.

We make things with experimental AI and emerging technologies (studios, instruments, courses, the school's own AI infrastructure) and take them where people are: festivals, classrooms, a church table, a nightclub.

Think of us as a slightly weird research × AI × tech-support centaur — half lab, half help-desk, here for whatever you're trying to make. The way in is ask.craitr.no.

An interactive workshop inside the Oslo Architecture Triennale (“What if nature comes first”): the participants define the natural — what to keep, what to let go, what to bring in — over case files on a church table, with a small self-hosted language instrument listening; sixteen cases heard. Registration was by application letter to the bureau. Co-organised with three collaborators.
